Staying out of the sun whilst getting laser hair removal

Why tanning is a NO whilst being treated by laser hair removal: 
When tanning (including artificial spray on tans) you increase the melanin in the skin which laser is attracted to. This causes complications such as burning and skin discolouration, as well as causing the skin to be light sensitive when laser hair removal treatment is being performed on you.
  
Whilst you are being treated at Nad's laser clinic, your laser technician will keep a record of your treatment progress and recommendations for your next treatment.



What you should do if you've tanned and have a laser appointment:
Our laser technicians will recommend that your appointment be moved out several weeks (depending on how long the area was exposed to the sun) so that the tan on the skin is no longer active.
